Lilly Allen to become the new face of a chanel handbag advertising campaign.
Oh god where do I start with this one.
Ok.
I like Lilly Allen. it is important to stress that upfront. I think her lyrics are good, she's funny. Sassy. loud, outspoken, not afraid to swear, get drunk, tell elton john to fuck off, strip off on holiday, wear that nasty Giles Deacon dress with the decapitated bambi's on it. but I put the foot down when she interfers with Chanel. Chanel is a classic, expensive, ladylike brand. now, I meant it when I said I like Lilly Allen. but, just because you can afford more then one chanel handbag should not a union make.

Do they not think someone like Audrey Tautou (actress starring in the film about Coco Chanel's life and the new face of an advertising revamp of chanel No. 5) who aches class from every pore and maybe if they are going for the younger crowd (hence Lilly) then why not, Agyness Deyn (everyone likes agyness don't they??)
apparently Lagerfeld was drawn to her 'Fun personality'. Has nothing to do with the amount of her hard earnt money she pores into chanel right?
Still though, I think it's cute that the first thing she did once securing a cheque for the first album, alright still. was apparently to buy a chanel dress worth £2,000. So maybe there is something to this that isn't as odd as it first sounded.
Lilly is said to be nervous. 
I'll state it again. I do like Lilly Allen. I do. She is funny and can look well when scrubbed up. The reason I chose such horrible photos was, i think it shows. She's game for a laugh. which I think makes her appeal to people. I like the fact she doesn't give a fuck. but it's still an odd choice for that brand
