Happy Passover ~ Happy Easter
Just wanted to take some time to wish all of you who might celebrate Passover or Easter, a blessed holiday (we celebrate both). The weekend weather is reason enough to celebrate. It was in the 70's and sunny here for the last few days - such a treat for us after so much rain.Did you have a good week?
My first week at my new library job was excellent. Everyone is so very nice, and it is such a relaxed environment. I think they were trying to ease me in super slow, to ensure I would not feel overwhelmed. I finally did a bit of related computer work by the end of the week...LOL. I also got to check out the new books, but I showed amazing restraint and did not bring any home, but did make some notes :) I know I am going to love this job, and it really feels great being back to work, after (11) months. I got up at 5 or 5:30 am each morning, even though I don't need to leave the house until 7:40 a.m. I hate rushing, and this gives me time to relax, surf the web, shower, and eat in an unhurried manner. I am pretty tired in the evenings, but I have been sleeping great! I'm planning on starting a workout plan at the beautiful facilities at work during lunch at least 3 days a week too. Honestly, I would rather spend the hour sitting outdoors and reading, however, the audio books help me to do both so that's the plan. It'll be easier to work out on rainy days I'm sure, but it is one of those benefits that I have no excuse not to use.

Reading stuff:
- I need to review (3) books (some were started last week) - Read, Remember, Recommend: A Reading Journal for Book Lovers; Knight (great book). I saw the challenge resulting from the book, but I am not sure I should take on ANY MORE.- I also read Lost; Lichtenstein (good), and How Not To Look Fat: Over 1,000 ways to look dress thinner WITHOUT DIETING!; Krupp (this one is fabulous - I defrumpped my closets on Saturday, and made a huge Goodwill bag...LOL. Actually, I didn't need to toss out too much as I've tried to dress thinner for years :) I think I made the hub feel guilty as he decided to clean his as well -- it was a win-win all around, so all is good!
- Finish Forty Rules of Love; Shafak (audio - almost done - very good)
- Finish The Season of Second Chances; Meier (very good)
- Begin Bloodroot; Amy Greene (audio)
- Read one non fiction -- I hope!
What's on your reading agenda for the week? Enjoy your Sunday and what ever you have in store..
