For years I have dyed my hair, and presumed that I would be a silver fox underneath the colour. I did start to go grey in my mid twenties, all the more noticeable due to my dark natural colour. Inspired by
Deborah over at The Beautiful Matters who has already taken this journey and grown out the colour, I have decided to go 'au naturel'. First step was to get a very short hair cut and then just go with the flow and let the colour grow out. It is not an easy journey, my hair looks a mess most of the time and the weather has been mild so hats have not been necessary. The plan was to grow out the colour in the Winter months so that when I went out I could wear a hat. I have been tempted a few times just to go and get some more colour put on, but I have come this far and will persevere until all the dye has been cut out and then I will make a decision.
Not a good look, as I have not done my hair yet but the picture does show how far I have come. I think it is fair to say that it will become more of a salt and pepper look rather than the silver fox that I had envisaged.
I will let you know of my progress.
See you soon.
