He reportedly told police he drank eight Tall Boys and was walking home with three more beers. When asked why he was wearing a leather jacket and a sweater in 91-degree heat, he said he was too drunk. He was issued a summons for drunkenness and left in care of OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
300 block of Bowman Street - A 15-year-old boy told police early Sunday that his mini bike was stolen. He met a teenage boy to talk about a possible transaction and said the suspect took the mini bike for a test drive and never returned.
600 block of Woodville Road - A brick was thrown through a man's front window early Sunday morning while he was sitting on his couch. A second brick was thrown, but it missed the glass and hit the side of the window, damaging the frame, he told police.
300 block of Wayne Street - A 26-year-old woman was arrested early Sunday morning and jailed on charges of drunkenness and obstructing official business. She admitted to lying to officers while they investigated a 911 hangup, according to a preliminary report.
600 block of Arlington Avenue - A woman reported Saturday afternoon that a pill bottle had been stolen from her unlocked car. Another car had been rummaged through just down the block.
600 block of Coleman Road - A man and woman reported Saturday afternoon that their cars had been rummaged through overnight. One was left unlocked and the windows were down for the other.
300 block of Bartley Avenue - A 44-year-old woman reported Saturday that her car's driver-side window had been smashed in.
400 block of Howard Street - A woman called police Saturday to report that she suspects a 29-year-old man damaged her car's fog light, in retaliation for calling the police Friday night.
600 block of Barnard Avenue - A 26-year-old woman told police Saturday morning that her car had been stolen. In the same block, money was stolen from an unlocked car.
300 block of Jennings Avenue - A 54-year-old woman was issued a summons for obstructing official business on Friday morning. Police were there about a possible criminal damaging case. She would not answer the door, police said, and later slammed a window.
600 block of Sequoia Lane - A 65-year-old man gave police a shoe box of ammunition on Friday morning. It was submitted to the crime lab to be destroyed.
First block of Massa Avenue - A 29-year-old man reported Friday afternoon the theft of a Glock 19 from his unlocked vehicle.
