Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s humanitarian principles have endeared him to millions of his fans across the political divide.
The former city administrator has just made public his intentions to support surviving kids of killer police woman Caroline Kangogo whose lifeless body was discovered yesterday at their rural home in Elgeyo-marakwet county and is currently kept at Iten paving way for autopsy.
Sonko, a shrewd philanthropist with an outstanding record for supporting similar courses intimated that Kangogo’s family should feel free to approach him at any time in case they face difficulties in bringing up the late officer’s kids.
He promised to take them in as his own and facilitate their learning. Bottom line, children are a blessing from God.
” My special request to her innocent family in Elgeyo-marakwet, Kama mtalemewa kusomesha au kulea watoto wake, please give them to me nikae nao, nitawasomesha na kuwalea. Children are a blessing from God”. Sonko said.
