Larry The Cable Guy's new CD Tailgate Party was recorded before 50,000 fans at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE during Independence Day weekend. The appearance – the first ever at Memorial Stadium by a comedian – was in conjunction with The City Of Lincoln’s 2-day event, “Uncle Sam Jam.”The special will also air in early 2010 on Comedy Central and will be available on DVD shortly after. In a first for Larry The Cable Guy, immediately following the event, stadium attendees could purchase a digital download of the show (with a collectible LTCG laminate). Released digitally via Basecamp Productions, the collectible laminate/download set is still available for purchase at http://www.larrythecableguy.com/.
