Ruto first appreciated the residents of the County for voting for him and the president Uhuru Kenyatta during the last elections.
He went against all odds to receive a red carpet reception from the residents of Baringo county which, is the home county of Senator Gedion Moi.
Dp officially opened the Kabarnet Municipal Market Stalls funded by the Kenya Urban Support Programme in partnership with the County Government of Baringo, Baringo Central, Baringo County and later engaged wananchi.

“We have escalated entrepreneur support to start-ups and micro businesses to broaden their opportunities, help them grow and boost their competitiveness. This will eventually generate millions of jobs, increase incomes and productivity hence arrest poverty levels in our country,” Ruto asserted.
Deputy president remarked that leaders must promote a culture of tolerance and peaceful co-existence among communities and engaged wananchi after the official opening of St. Joseph Catholic Church Kituro, Baringo Central Constituency, Baringo.
